Cumberland Fire District, Inc is governed by a Joint Powers Agreement between the Town of Cumberland, Town of Crystal Lake, City of Cumberland, Town of Maple Plains, and Town of Lakeland municipalities. In addition, they are under contract to the following Town of Johnstown, Town of McKinley, Town of Stanfold, St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin - Sand Lake Community but do not cover entire townships in these areas.
A volunteer department, Cumberland Fire District, Inc and its members are committed to excellence. The department and individuals routinely participate in local, state, and national trainings including but not limited to Firefighting, Confined Space Rescue, Haz-Mat, and Extrication.
Cumberland Fire District Inc. is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Cumberland Fire District Inc.
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
